Councilman Anselmo Millan has never been afraid of speaking his mind when exercising his vote on the Harrison Town Council. He has been a resident of Harrison for 45 years and sat on the Council for 25 years. Mayor James Fife once praised Anselmo for his hard work and dedication to the Town of Harrison, now Mayor Fife has said some derogatory statements including calling Anselmo and his Council candidates self-interested individuals and Councilman Millan a “Pinocchio”. Anselmo’s record speaks for itself.

Ironically, Mayor Fife and his friend Director of Personnel for Harrison Board of Education and Councilman James Doran are the ones that want to keep the status quo because they and a few of their friends want to maintain the status quo at the expense of residents. Almost all Town and Harrison School employees make appropriate salaries. However, a select group of Mayor Fife and Councilman Doran friends including Council Candidates and their spouses make extraordinary salaries taking money from necessary services.
