Pre Anselmo Millan announcement that he was running for Mayor, Mayor James Fife praised him for his tireless work. Now Mayor Fife through surrogates is on Facebook stating that Anselmo does nothing for his community. The opposite is the truth. See Record of Accomplishments.

When Anselmo announced he was running for Mayor, Mayor Fife made derogatory statements about Anselmo and locked his Councilman’s office in the Senior Citizen Center in Harrison under false pretenses but later admitted within 30 minutes of his Deposition in the Federal Civil Rights Complaint brought by Anselmo Millan against him, that he locked Millan out of his Councilman’s office because he was running against him for Mayor. Anselmo Millan’s Record of Accomplishments

Green Spaces including Playgrounds are an important part of Quality of Life for Harrisonians.

Among the many accomplishments, Anselmo Millan founded the Harrison Fest Committee Inc. to celebrate the diversity of Harrison’s residents. A Grand Street Parade and Street Festival along Harrison Avenue is only two of the events that Harrison Fest put together for the community. There is also a Queens Gala and leading up to Thanksgiving Day, a Turkey Dinner Drive that provides a full family meal with all the fixings to families in need. A Holiday Party with Santa Claus was continued on a scaled down basis post Covid.
